We are blessed with a truly wonderful parish family. Countless people have come up to me after mass, in my voicemail, in my mailbox, some extending sympathy others encouragement, others confidence and willingness to help. Empathy is an acquired trait, it is not found in our genes.
I appreciate your dedication to the Lord and His family. I appreciate your support and ask for your prayers during this transition. So far all is generally going well.
May God Bless You
Father Richard Morrow
This year Monsignor had encouraged the stewardship committee to focus on increasing the number of pledges received in our annual stewardship of the treasure drive, Sharing God’s Gifts. Never a pastor to underestimate his flock Monsignor’s goal was no less than 100% participation. Knowing all that we have comes from our heavenly Father, Monsignor encouraged us to share our gifts to grow His church here on earth.
Monsignor was passionate about stewardship, not so much the quantity of money, but the quantity of your commitment. What were you willing to give back to our God in terms of your commitment of time, talent and treasure? Do we indeed put God first in our list of priorities, or is He merely an afterthought. If you have not done so already please fill out your pledge card and return it today.
A pledge card can be downloaded here.
You can also pledge on-line. Click on the button:
